Vaults
StakeWise V3 introduces Vaults, permissionless minipools that accept ETH delegations, allowing users to stake with various Vault options. Vault operators create and manage Vaults, receiving deposits from Allocators. Every 32 ETH in a Vault activates a validator on the Beacon Chain, with rewards going to Allocators, minus the Vault’s fee. Vault Tokens (VLTs) represent staked ETH, accruing value over time. Vaults can be private, set fees, allocate validators, and even offer slashing insurance.
osETH Token
StakeWise, osETH is an ERC-20 token representing overcollateralized staked ETH, allowing anyone who’s staked ETH in a Vault to mint it; osETH maintains a 1:1 peg to staked ETH value without transferring slashing risks to holders.

StakeWise V3 aims to provide liquid staking for a wide range of participants, including solo stakers, liquid staking and DeFi users, commercial node operators, and institutions/exchanges, enabling them to access DeFi, mitigate slashing risks, and enhance Ethereum’s decentralization.
