$L2PAD Token Bridging & Staking: A Step-by-Step Guide

Our network leverages the layer-2 scaling solutions of Arbitrum and Optimism, which allow IDOs to be conducted in a faster, cheaper, and more efficient manner overall in comparison to the Ethereum network.
For those of you purchasing $L2PAD on the Ethereum blockchain, we’ve created a quick tutorial on how to bridge your assets to Artbitrum’s network so you can experience it for yourselves. In addition, once you’ve bridged your assets, you can earn high rewards through our app’s staking feature, which we’ll walk you through as well.
How to Bridge from Ethereum to Arbitrum
- Navigate to https://bridge.arbitrum.io/ and connect your web wallet (i.e. MetaMask) — make sure you’re on the Ethereum mainnet
- Once connected, click on the Token button and a popup will appear. Click View Token Lists and select all 4
3. Now click View Tokens to return to the original menu. Type in the $L2PAD token contract address: (0x8df6606b8e624333ebecce706edbf7139bdd56b1) — once the $L2PAD token option appears, click on it
4. Type in the number of $L2PAD tokens you would like to bridge — to transfer the full amount, click max amount
5. Next, you’ll be prompted to confirm the deposit. Select Deposit to continue
6. Follow the MetaMask prompts and pay the associated gas fees to allow MetaMask to spend your $L2PAD. On the bottom of the screen, wait until the transaction status column changes from “pending” to “success”
7. Once the transaction is successful, MetaMask will automatically popup again and you’ll be prompted to pay for the transaction fee in ETH to bridge your $L2PAD to Arbitrum
8. Wait a few minutes as the transaction can take some time to process. Once the status column on the bottom switches to “success,” you’ll see your $L2PAD tokens within your Layer 2 balance
Staking Your $L2PAD on Arbitrum
- Go to https://app.l2pad.io/ and select L2PAD Staking at the top of the page
2. On the top right of the page, select Switch to Arbitrum and follow the MetaMask prompts
3. Next, go under “L2PAD Staking” and click Connect to MetaMask. Sign the transaction to proceed
4. Enter the amount of $L2PAD you wish to stake and select Stake L2PAD. Approve the transaction — you’ve now successfully staked your tokens on the app
