Viral TikTok Rap Duo Flyana Boss Set to Ignite the Stage at the “Pink Disco Pop-Up” Event
The music industry is abuzz with the news of the viral TikTok rap duo Flyana Boss headlining the exclusive “Pink Disco Pop-Up” event at Soho House on August 10th, 2023. This event, a celebration of women and LGBTQIA+ music industry professionals is the brainchild of Peanut Butter Friends, a women and queer-owned full-scale creative agency with a strong commitment to innovation and inclusion.
In collaboration with Sharp Edges Records, a woman-owned recording and production studio in Los Angeles, and Soho House, a global private members club known for its commitment to the arts, the event promises to be a night of music, celebration, and industry insights. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Trevor Project, a leading organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ young people under 25.
Flyana Boss, known for their viral hit “You Wish,” are set to bring their electrifying energy to the stage. The duo, hailing from Detroit and Dallas, has taken the internet by storm, and their performance is eagerly anticipated by fans and industry insiders alike.
The event will also feature Sid Dorey, a rising Nashville singer-songwriter signed publishing to Arthouse Entertainment, and an immersive DJ set from the innovative Upper Reality, a DJ/Producer/vocalist/multi-instrumentalist known for their cutting-edge approach at the intersection of culture and technology.
A highlight of the evening will be a music industry panel featuring esteemed panelists Maria Gironas, Global Chair, Diversity and Inclusion, Women in Music; Rachel West, Grammy-nominated songwriter, PULSE; and Joe Aboud, Music Business Consultant, Former Head of Streaming and Marketing, HITCO. The panel will be hosted by Hazel Rose, Songwriter and Co-C.E.O of Peanut Butter Friends.
