The middle-class supporters expected Fransisco to implement political reforms swiftly, such as establishing democratic institutions and upholding the rule of law. However, the lower-class participants were impatient for more radical changes. Maderos attempts to balance these competing demands proved difficult. He faced resistance and found it challenging to satisfy the more radical demands of the lower-class supporters.

The diverging goals between Fransisco and his middle- class supporters on one hand and lower-class participates on the other, created tensions and challenges during and after the revolution. The tensions contributed to the complexity and vitality of the revolutionary period, highlighting the difficulty of balancing political reforms with the more pressing socioeconomic demands of the marginalized groups.
