[New Taipei City Report] Professor Pan Renhao was invited to the Taiwan International Health Training Center (TIHTC) at the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Taipei Hospital to provide professional training for international healthcare experts. He shared WaCare’s contributions to the healthcare field in Taiwan, focusing on digital symbiosis

in healthcare services and dedicating efforts to providing equal medical services to people worldwide. He also invited attendees to collaborate in promoting further international cooperation in healthcare.

Physicians and government officials from various countries gathered for an international educational training program titled “WaCare: Eliminating Health Inequality through Telehealth and Technology.” This program attracted health officials and healthcare professionals from countries such as Mongolia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Armenia, and Georgia, among others. During the event, Professor Pan provided them with an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of digital healthcare services, highlighting that digital symbiosis

will play a crucial role in shaping the future of health technology.

The core concept of WaCare, “digital symbiosis” combines community-based patient management and personalized healthcare applications. This application focuses on tracking and recording health data related to diet, medication, nutrition, and diseases to provide individualized healthcare. It represents not only a technological breakthrough in online health monitoring but also a response to the challenges posed by the global aging society. This application enables older family members and their caregivers to establish a shared platform for health information, leading to a better understanding of their daily health status and facilitating seamless interaction between patients, physicians, and the community.

Many physicians took diligent notes and exchanged ideas with their colleagues throughout the event. For them, the future of healthcare increasingly relies on digital technology. It is not just a new technological tool but also an innovative concept with the potential to transform the healthcare industry, contributing to the enhancement of public health standards in various countries.
