Carbon!

the intention of having carbon wearing a hoodie was to hide their hair, to take away the gender idea.

People say: to be normal is hard. But to me, carbon is the happy normal: they are not too big nor too small, not too attention-seeking nor too solitary…they are disciplinary and rarely misbehave (unless they have unwanted extra electrons — that’s when carbon get overwhelmed and go cuckoo!!) — if Goldilocks has to pick an atom, that would be carbon baby.

Because Carbon is so normal and neutral, everyone likes carbon, and that’s why carbon is always surrounded by (four) friends. Well, speaking of neutral — because being okay and compatible and fitting to most elements is the key personality/property of carbon, the character of carbon was created to be gender-neutral —to accentuate this state of being, and to show love and appreciation to the beautiful spectrum of diversity of people (and the periodic table)❥
