Making an app a day keeps the brain-doctor away — Mad Steve

Forever Young Tattoo@Lesllev

I love this,

Show me what my ink-etched skin will look like in 50–40–30–20–10–5-(-X) years (I don’t know how old you are but surely you fall in one of these brackets).

Now this I would take.

I’m pretty sure Facebook, Twitter and so on would take as well.

The issue may be that they don’t care? Or they would rather rely on people ignoring/blocking/reporting all those things.

I mean the straightforward way to do this is to just not check them, or to not have friends/people you follow who make racist comments but yeah, let’s make an app for that. Call it: un-racism-my-feed.

On a more serious note: this is the kind of app that needs to be made, it should actually be a core feature of all these social networking sites to tackle racism, but then again, censorship… You know, free speech and so on, it would be good to muzzle these people but you can’t always do what’s good in the real world, in MadLand on the other hand, you can do whatever the hell you want.

GuessMyAge@JohnRiversToo

I’m pretty sure twitter already has that data, but never mind that, let’s find someone who will come up with a way to figure where someone is without looking at the language they’re using, and the myriad of location data attached to their internet interactions.

This would be very interesting as a challenge to give to a bunch of lazy developers. Alternatively it would be very interesting to see what would happen if you gave to a bunch of overzealous developers.

Anyhow, let’s go for now.

Apologies this came out so late after the ideas were tweeted, but MadLand required my attentions.

Check out GetMadIdeas or follow me here or on twitter (@mad__idea) for more madness.
