Timmy was the first chick that we named when we brought home seven of these two-day old cuties. She is a Fayoumis. Fayoumis can trace their ancestry back to ancient Egypt, in fact, to the famous Tutankhamen. King Tut had procured some Sri Lankan jungle fowls as pets. They inter-bred with domestic fowls to produce the Fayoumis.
