Yes, women cheat too, but let’s face it, women way too often put up with lying cheating boyfriends, fiances, and husbands. Before I dive into further research, here are my hypotheses for why men cheat, including logical explanations only.

  1. He has an undiagnosed Dissociative Personality Disorder where he goes into a fugue state and is completely unaware of his actions.
  2. He was abducted by aliens who either switched his brain or ate part of his heart.
  3. He was forced to under gun point.
  4. His mother told him to.
  5. He has a serious medical condition in which he can only pee after he ejaculates and so he needs to have sex multiple times per day in order to release his urine. Doctors orders.
  6. He was offered 1 million dollars to sleep with a Russian runaway but only did it to use the money to pay off his girlfriend’s student loans.
  7. He had to sleep with her to save his dog’s life. Don’t ask me why. But his dog is really cute and innocent.
  8. He was sex trafficked into a swinger’s circle.

I’m looking forward to diving into more research. If you are, or have ever been a lying cheating boyfriend or husband, I’m looking for research subjects. No compensation will be provided.
