Success Story 🌟 Euveka x ANDAM
We are excited to annonce our participation of the expert committee of the Andam Innovation Prize! Lafayette Plug and Play shares the same central mission with Andam, which, is to showcase the best upcoming talents within the Fashion industry. Hence, we are thrilled to support them for their Innovation Prize.
Audrey-Laure Bergenthal, CEO of Euveka and Winner of the first Innovation Prize, is also a former startup of Lafayette Plug and Play’s network. We decided to speak with her and get some insights and feedback on her experience!
About Andam
Founded in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour, under the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture and the DEFI (supervised by the French Ministry of Industry), with Pierre Bergé as president, ANDAM (National Association for the Development of the Fashion Arts) was conceived from the beginning as a structure for recognizing and assisting young designers on the French and international fashion scene.
The creation of ANDAM constituted a decisive step forward and the first public initiative in the promotion of young fashion talents.
The innovation prize is dedicated to designers, entrepreneur or start-up, French and international willing to develop their project in France. These projects have to offer creative, innovative and technological solutions in the field of fashion design, production and distribution. The aim is to develop an accountable and transparent Fashion, considering the economic, environmental and social issues.
The fellowship winner will receive:
— A global endowment of € 30,000;
— A privileged mentorship from Clarisse Reille, general manager of DÉFI, with the support of the experts’s committee;
— Direct access and support from the ANDAM Fashion Technology network, French incubators, French banks and funding, the IFM Start program and to the institutional and private actors of the French Fashion Tech industry.

About Euveka 👗
Euveka is specialized in robotic technologies related to morphology and biomimicry. Euveka develops smart evolutive dummies that are able to reproduce any body shape in less than 2 minutes.

Euveka helps professionals of fashion, sports and medical industries in prototyping and selling personalized clothes. Euveka was part of the Batch 2 of Lafayette Plug and Play and we are happy to see the lovely Audrey achieving so many great things after the program.
Can you explain how l’ANDAM was a booster for your development following your participation within Lafayette Plug and Play ?
In the continuity of the Lafayette Plug and Play program, winning the Andam Fashion Awards in Innovation Category has been an incredible highlight and accelerator for us.
This allowed us to be immediately in touch with the major luxury fashion houses in France and Europe and has definitely established our reputation with our other specific targets like sport and medical. We also benefit from important communication relays in France and abroad. This prize has been a real consecration of our work and a validation of our solution with a highly and qualified jury.
We could not win a more valuable and internationally estimated prize. It’s a lifelong certification.
What is the best advice you can give to the next winner to get prepared ?
Believe in your project and carry it with all energy possible. In my opinion, this is the best way to achieve this. And of course: Repeat your pitch as many times as you need to know it by heart !
What are the next big steps for the Euveka Team this year ?
This year Euveka is planning delivery of a 80-robots throughout France and Europe: Today, 15 of them are already ordered and will be delivered in the fashion houses mid-May.
For our future developments, we will soon launch the newest development of our product, foldable and evolutive arms, which will be closely followed by a robotic bust man.
We will also soon be moving our head office! As of September we will move near the Valence TGV station, where we will be able to expand. Currently, our team consists of 30 people, but we will grow this out to 60 by the end of the year. We are also planning to enter the US market by setting up an office in New York City, which will be focused on Sales, as well as in up in Austin, which will focus on technical development.
