What led you to become a product manager?

As a kid, I always wanted to become a space scientist and fly to the stars!

As I finished my college, I realised I was more interested in digital products than the stars. I kickstarted my career in marketing as an entrepreneur. Working with various tech-startups, I found a liking for product management…And woot here I am!

Well, stars are still a part of my world, they are just stuck on Playstore & Appstore!

What does a typical day look like?

Name three people or things that inspire you when creating a product

Apps have become a part of everyone’s lives; some of them have gone a step ahead and become vital for lives to function normally. It feels great to be a part of an app that falls into the second category — And the fact that my insights and decision can make someone’s life (a bit) better, inspires me everyday (while putting some pressure on me alongside)

Product Hunt:

Dozens of incredible products join the list everyday. This helps me get a perspective of what’s going on in the tech-world and also help me dive into the world of endless possibilities.

Wesley Chan:

It’s difficult to imagine a world without Google today! Wesley was one of the pioneers who led the journey of Google from being an internet-search company to becoming the leader of Internet advertising. The working style of Wesley Chan, as written in In the Plex (by Steven Levy), is a definite inspiration to me and many product managers!
