You’ve read the research, taken the class and watched the videos on YouTube. You want to implement small group learning into your classroom, but something is holding you back. What are the other kids doing while you focus on the small group?

You’ve gotten skilled at working with the whole class.

You’re not so sure how it will go when your main focus is on just 5 or 6 kids.

Sure, some of them will be perfectly content to read their books of choice for a solid 20 minutes. They’d probably read even longer if you let them.

But even if you have a lot of dedicated readers and put 6 kids in your (not so) small group, you’re not out of the woods. Your goal is to have every student engaged in meaningful work, right?

Coloring and worksheets aren’t going to cut it. Luckily, there’s Lalilo. Your students can use a tablet or a computer to practice phonics and comprehension skills. You’ll be able to track their personalized learning and assign specific lessons.

So now you’re ready to tell principals, parents and colleagues exactly what the other kids are doing.
