BSC Pool Exploit Post Analysis

Yesterday, a hacker utilized a Pancakeswap and Lamden Tau token smart contract exploit to drain the pool. They were effectively able to manipulate the price of Tau, and then sell only 34 Tau to make off with the entire BNB side of the liquidity pool.

This caused the pool to become illiquid. However, no Tau tokens were affected. All user wallets are safe. The funds lost were funds provided by Lamden, so only Lamden has been affected by the exploit. Lamden will provide a new liquidity pool quickly.

We will be deploying a new pool as soon as possible. First, we are conducting an audit on all of the smart contracts, fixing the bug, and redeploying the code. In that time, trading on Pancakeswap will be unavailable. If you want to trade, consider sending BSC Lamden tokens to the mainnet via the LamdenLink bridge @ www.lamdenlink.com

Thanks for your patience and understanding. This small hiccup will be a forgotten memory in the near future.

Viva La Tau!
