Happy Monday everyone! We’ve been hard at work and it’s time for another Dev Update!

If you haven’t yet, be sure to join our Reddit community and come discuss this week’s update.

Lamden Wallet

  • The response to interview the Lamden community and test the Lamden Wallet prototype was overwhelming. Ultimately we ended up interviewing 4 users for an average of 30–60 minutes each. Thank you to everyone who participated! We’ll take your feedback to make the Lamden Wallet even better!

Lamden Swaps

  • Implemented unified transaction methods across all supported coins including Bitcoin and Bitcoin based coins as well as Ethereum, Ethereum based and ERC20 Tokens (and others).
  • Extended unified transaction methods to the Lamden Swaps API server.

Blockchain

  • I worked on refactoring block notification flow — unified different block notifications using the new message scheme and integrated it.
  • Working on self regulating network that slows and speeds up based on availability of transactions. This will allow us to ensure the best network speeds while also controlling overall chain size.
  • Worked on upgrade path design spec
  • Working on pepper update message
  • Working on voting contract exec for upgrade

What’s Next?

Begin adding low-level portions of new Lamden Swaps functionality to the new wallet (which now uses Sveltejs instead of Vuejs). Continue Lamden Wallet UI/UX improvements based on user interviews. Continue working on self regulating network that slows and speeds up based on availability of transactions.
