Artificial intelligence (AI) is a rapidly advancing technology that is having a significant impact on our lives in many ways, including our intelligence quotient (IQ). While some experts argue that AI is making us smarter, others argue that it may be making us lazier and less intelligent in certain areas.

One of the ways in which AI is affecting our IQ is by changing the way we learn and process information, AI systems are now able to analyze vast amounts of data and provide us with insights and recommendations that were previously impossible to obtain. This means that we can now access a wealth of knowledge and information at the click of a button, making it easier for us to learn new things and expand our knowledge.

However, some experts also argue that our reliance on AI technology may be making us lazy and less intelligent in certain areas. For example, some studies have found that our ability to remember information has declined in recent years, as we have become more reliant on our smartphones and other digital devices to store and retrieve information for us.

Another area in which AI is affecting our IQ is in the development of cognitive skills. Some experts believe that AI may be able to improve our cognitive abilities by providing us with personalized training programs and feedback that can help us improve our memory, attention, and problem-solving skills. However, others argue that AI may be making us less intelligent by taking over tasks that we used to do ourselves, such as calculating numbers and making decisions and more importantly performing assigned tasks that are designed to help us learn.

In recent months, there have been finding about people using AI to write formal papers ranging from essays to research papers which formally was designed to help us in our reading, writing and pursuit of greater intelligence. Old studies have shown that these paper writings have helped people boost learning and understanding, but increase in reliance on these new technology will surely have its repercussion on our IQ.
