Saying new Lancer head coach Griff Aldrich has hit the ground running would be an understatement. The new bench boss has already hired two assistant coaches, made his first offer to a Florida point guard, and is now working the recruiting trail HARD as the live period begun late this week.

After offering Jason Preston in Tennessee, Coach Griff kicked off efforts in the Norfolk area where he was in to see Phoebus guard Antwan Miles.

The senior guard has averaged over 25 points per game over his last two seasons and is considered among the best players in the state. He has interest from Hampton, Maryland-Eastern Shore, and Howard. He is visiting Division II power Virginia State today.
