Coach Griff is looking to close out his first recruiting class and he may be doing so with Meadowcreek High School (GA) product Cory Hightower.

Hightower, a 6'7 forward, originally signed with Detroit early last year. Since then the Titans have moved on from head coach Bacari Alexander and their current search has been a bit of a two month debacle. Hightower has been released from his LOI with the Titans.

Originally from Flint, Michigan, Hightower averaged 10.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals his junior year of high school. This past year he upped those numbers to 11.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 steals.

Hightower’s father, also Cory, was a second round draft pick of the San Antonio Spurs. He played professionally for over ten years mostly on teams in the Continental Basketball Association. Although he did have stops with the Harlem Globetrotters and Venezuela.
