Longwood Lacrosse finished their regular season today with a 12–11 win at Liberty. The Lancers finish the season with an 8–9 record and a 5–2 mark in the Big South.

With the win today Longwood will be the #3 seed for this week’s Big South Tournament. The Lancers will host the #6 seed Campbell on April 30. The quarterfinals of the tournament will begin Friday May 2 and will be hosted at High Point, who took the conference’s #1 seed with a perfect 7–0 season.

Head coach Elaine Jones is now 18–17 in her two years as the Lancers head coach and is 10–4 in Big South play. Last year the Lancers were also the #3 seed in the Big South Tournament and lost to the #2 seed High Point in the conference semifinals.
