Longwood offers local guard

Longwood is the first to offer Class of 2018 point guard Timon Jones from Henrico.

Jones is described as a combo guard just under 6'0 tall. His brother, Tim Jones, was the AAA state Player of the Year at Henrico and originally committed to Longwood during Jayson Gee’s first season. Jones was to come on as a preferred walk-on and went to play at Trinidad State Junior College and later played at Virginia Wesleyan.

The offer to Jones affirms the teams approach to going after more local recruits.
