Schedule Leaks: Date set to take on George Mason

We mentioned last month that Longwood was once again set to visit George Mason for the upcoming season, and now that date is official with the Lancers visiting Fairfax on Friday, November 8.

It’s the second year in a row the Lancers will hit the road on the first Friday of the season to take on an Atlantic 10 team. Last year Longwood knocked off Richmond 63–58 in the same timeslot.

The meeting between the Patriots and Lancers will be the third in the past five years. The Lancers are 0–2 at George Mason losing 75–70 in 2015 and 97–60 in 2016.

Beyond George Mason, Longwood is expected to visit Delaware State and host Maryland-Eastern Shore and the Citadel. The Lancers return game with Stetson may be packaged with a tournament or may not be next season
