Softball (24–26, 13–8)

Kathy Riley’s squad seems to be peaking at the right time after taking a series from Liberty early in the week and closing the regular season with a sweep at Radford. Longwood ends the Big South season with a 13–8 mark and will be the three send when they host the Big South Tournament in a couple of weeks.

The Lancers are 8–1 over the last week and will likely match up with Gardner-Webb or Radford in the first round of the tournament, two teams the Lancers swept this season.

Last Week: W 3–2, L 7–6, W 3–0 at Liberty, W 1–0, W 5–0, W 5–2 at Radford
This Week: OFF

Baseball (13–29, 5–13)

Longwood baseball is really limping to the end of the season. The Lancers are last in the Big South and have been getting shelled as of late. In their last 10 games Longwood has given up 106 runs.

Longwood will host four out-of-conference match ups this week.

Last Week: L 16–0 at JMU, L 20–7, L 13–4 vs Liberty
This Week: 5/3 vs Norfolk State, 5/6–7 vs Lehigh

Lacrosse (7–11, 3–4)

Longwood closed the season with a 20–13 loss at Liberty in the Big South Tournament.
