Throw away your dinner

What’s for dinner tonight?

Perhaps a brimming Buddha bowl?

Some tasty tacos?

A simple salad?

What did you pick? That simple salad?

Here is the plan to make it: 1.) Check your fridge for ingredients. 2.) If you don’t have everything, perhaps you go to the store or perhaps you improvise. 3.) Once you have everything you need, start cleaning, cutting and creating the delightful salad. 4.) Once the dish is plated and you are ready to eat, walk to the trash and throw it away.

You heard me. Throw it away.

Then, plan to do this with Thursday and Sunday’s dinner.

The average American throws away 157 full meals every year. This equates to one full meal every 2.3 days. This is like taking your delicious salad and throwing it away every Monday, Thursday and Sunday.

Just a little food for thought… A little something to chew on…
