Get started in Crypto — So Easy you can walk your Grandparents & Kids Through it.
All Explained below
This article will walk you through the steps of opening a Coinbase account and buying Bitcoin, creating a Trust Wallet (store your crypto vs leaving it on Coinbase), and depositing your #Bitcoin into your Trust Wallet.
Step 1: Open a Coinbase Account
To open a Coinbase account, go to the Coinbase website and click on "Get Started." You will be asked to provide your name, email address, and country of residence. Once you have provided this information, you will need to create a password and verify your email address.
Step 2: Buy Bitcoin
Once you have verified your email address, you will be able to buy Bitcoin. To do this, click on the "Buy/Sell" button and select Bitcoin. You will then be asked to enter the amount of Bitcoin you want to buy and the payment method you want to use.
Coinbase supports a variety of payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Once you have selected a payment method, you will need to confirm your purchase.
Step 3: Create a Trust Wallet
To create a Trust Wallet, download the Trust Wallet app from the App Store or Google Play. Once you have downloaded the app, open it and tap on "Create a New Wallet."
You will then be asked to create a password for your wallet. Once you have created a password, you will be asked to back up your recovery phrase. This is a 12-word phrase that is used to recover your wallet if you lose your device or forget your password.
Note: Unlike banks, you own sole possession of your money in the Trust Wallet. This also means that there is no customer service to call if you lose or forget your password, so keep it safe.
Step 4: Deposit Bitcoin into Trust Wallet
To deposit Bitcoin into Trust Wallet, open the Trust Wallet app and tap on the "Bitcoin" wallet. Then, tap on the "Receive" button and copy your public address.
Next, go to your Coinbase account and click on the "Accounts" tab. Then, click on the "Bitcoin" account and click on the "Send" button.
Enter the public address you copied from Trust Wallet into the "Recipient Address" field. Then, enter the amount of Bitcoin you want to send and click on the "Send" button.
Your Bitcoin will be deposited into your Trust Wallet within a few minutes.
