California state has a lot of santuaries for California red-legged frog. The northern limit of the range of this frog is Cottonwood Creak, and the southern limit is Sweetwater County Park. This sanctuaris could foster the cummunity partnership through the frog. For example, the frog raised at the San Francisco Zoo was released into Yosemite National Park as part of a program aimed at reintroducing the nearly-extinct amphibian into areas where it has not been seen for 50 years.
