Ricardo Ramirez lived in the United States his entire life. After being released from prison, he was deported to Mexico, a country where he has no family. He does not speak Spanish. Everyday he trains at the outdoor gym located on the beach at the border wall of Tijuana, and he thinks of his family left behind.
Life goes on at El Barretal caravan migrant camp in Tijuana. Music and the smell of tortillas filled the air as soccer and card games entertained families isolated at the Mexican-U.S. border/
Mexican Americans from McAllen Texas stand on the back of their pickup trucks waving flags in support of Trump’s visit to his controversial border town. Shouts of “Build that wall. Build that wall. Build that wall,” competed with people driving by honking horns and waving signs that oppose Trump’s wall.
