Historic downtown neighborhood in the heart of St. Paul, Minnesota being revitalized by artists, architecture and Bill Murray.

Our Lanona workshop operates out of the historic Northern Warehouse building in the Lowertown neighborhood of Saint Paul, MN. Built in 1903 and originally named the Foley Brothers and Kelly Warehouse, this building was used for the Foley Brother’s booming construction company and wholesale grocery business. Their company was responsible for building an impressive 25,000 miles of railroad tracks over 30 years of operation. Now, the building houses artists, Leather Works Minnesota, photographers, film developers, an authentic Japanese restaurant, and more. We utilize our space on the first floor for a show room, shipping/receiving operations, and outsole prototyping/manufacturing. We’re proud to be a part of such a creative and diverse community in the Northern Warehouse.

The neighborhood has seen a boost in development recently with the construction of a unique baseball stadium hosting the Saint Paul Saints, co-owned by Bill Murray.

As an ode to the neighborhood we’re based out of, here’s time-lapse of our Lowertown sign being painted at the workshop:
