Despite that 2018 has been a roller coaster for the cryptocurrency world, at LAPO we are proud to have achieved many milestones thanks to your support and trust.
And 2019 will be even better!!! We are working hard to provide you with the best products to facilitate the use of cryptocurrencies and make them accessible to everyone, everywhere.
Below is a brief summary of what happened in this exciting year and the outlook for the beginning of 2019.
2018: LAPO, BEST SWISS BLOCKCHAIN COMPANY
Recognition
-LAPO Blockchain AG was selected as one of the best 50 Blockchain Companies in Switzerland and Liechtenstein according to Zug-based investors CV VC, in collaboration with consultancy PwC and technology provider Inacta. Over 1'200 companies were analyzed in order to compile the first-ever list of the top 50 companies in Crypto Valley.
-Our ICO has been rated with the highest scores from specialized sites (ICOranker: 100/100; TrackICO: 5/5; Foundico: 9.7/10; ICOBench: 4.3/5; ICO Marks: 8.5/10).
-We have been featured on important news sites around the world.
The company
-LAPO Blockchain AG received the official confirmation of incorporation in Zug. And we opened our headquarters at the Cryptovalley LABS.
-We officially became a member of the Crypto Valley Association to help build the world’s leading blockchain and cryptographic technologies ecosystem.
Development update
Although we are in the ICO phase, we have started to deliver some of our products. This is something special for a project at this stage, and it is one of the greatest advantages of LAPO.
Our Blockchain went live in July and we launched our desktop wallet. Since then, more than 55’000 wallets has been downloaded and more than 500 Masternodes have been activated.

We are currently working on the Mobile Wallet that is almost ready to be launched.

-IBM. LAPO Blockchain AG is one of the companies that IBM has chosen as a part of its program to provide us with access to services like AI, Blockchain, and data science to build leading-edge solutions at scale. In addition to allowing us to access to IBM technology, they also provide tutoring with leading experts.
-Apollon One. We partnered with Apollon One, a Canadian company that provides services to create Masternodes. It offers to the LAPO Coin holders an easy way to set-up their Masternodes through a software without worrying about servers and without the need of having technical knowledge for its configuration and maintenance.
-WalkiFit. The LAPO Coin is one of the cryptocurrencies that WalkyFit’s users receive as a reward. WalkyFit is a fitness App that rewards physical activity with cryptocurrencies and they are about 100,000 users.

2019: A GREAT START
The year will begin with the delivery of the Mobile Wallet. We did our best to deliver it this year but we have been adding new features to make it even better. So it will be worth the wait.
For the beginning of the year, we are preparing, in addition, the ePayment beta and the Crypto Debit Card private beta.
In January we will do a Poll in order to select the first exchanges based on the opinion of our community.
The first events we will attend in 2019 are the World Economic Forum and the Blockchain Economic Forum in Davos.
New members and partners will join our team during 2019 and we can not wait to announce them and the good news that will make LAPO stronger during the next year.
