LAPO BLOCKCHAIN ready to shake the streets of Zurich
For the first time, the mega techno event will have a ‘love mobile’ sponsored by a Cryptocurrency.
On 11 August, The Swiss Startup LAPO BLOCKCHAIN will cross the streets of Zurich aboard the ‘TECHNOlogies Love Mobile’, one of the mobile stages that form the core of the Street Parade.
“Just like the techno music culture, Blockchain is also about freedom and inclusion”, said Luiis Franceschi, CEO and Founder of LAPO. The million attendees of the largest techno parade will meet the LAPO team and get know its Swiss cryptocurrency LAPO Coin.
The Blockchain company is developing a payment system and a decentralized exchange platform for cryptocurrencies. “Merchants will be able to accept cryptocurrencies with our easy-to-use tools and exchange them to Swiss Francs or other currencies quickly and cheaply, as they do now with credit card or PayPal. It could be an alternative solution for some of the problems facing the street parade with cash”, said Franceschi.
Due to counterfeit money in previous years, the organizers of the mega techno event announced that this year they will only accept Swiss Francs at their beverage stands. “Cryptocurrencies are reliable, they can not be falsified, they are backed by the accountability and transparency of the Blockchain technology”, said LAPO founder.
‘TECHNOlogies Love Mobile’ is the truck #8 of the parade and there the LAPO BLOCKCHAIN team will share the stage with the DJs: Fabio Florido (TECHNOlogies Love Mobile, Model1 Ambassador, PLAYdifferently, MIUNUS, SCI+TEC, Berlin), Max (TECHNOlogies Love Mobile — Materiamusic, Lugano) and Stallo (TECHNOlogies Love Mobile — Disconnekt, Berlin).
