What it looks like to be so, so, so loved

I had the most overwhelming day of love since moving home from New Zealand 2.5 years ago. My mother-in-law, sis-in-law and sweet cousin-in-law and aunt-in-law hosted us a baby shower on Saturday that will be etched in my memory forever and ever! The time and the thought and the sweetness of the whole thing… I cried for 4 hours (and not bc of baby-growing hormones but bc I was so, so touched by the sincerity of this).

All the decorations and signs hand-created by my sis-in-law Haley (see her Etsy shop!).

The best I have ever, ever, ever eaten apple chicken salad and tortellini salads homemade by my mother-in-law Mary who would make your dreams come true with her cooking. Plus raspberry sorbet punch!!

The watermelon baby carved by my father-in-law (he makes jewelry and carves watermelons :>).

Fun games, prizes and the sweetest take-home gifts for every person (amazing soaps and hand creams!!!) by our amazing Aunt Kristi.

The straight-out-of-a-catalog house is (soon to be for the first-time) great-grammy Betty’s.

Our Little is so loved. And we are so much more beyond grateful for it. Thank you, thank you THANK YOU: Mary, Haley, Kristy, Scout, Kathy, Shanita, Gene, Marina, GG Betty, Mom, Sis, and GG Penny ❤

(L-R) Great-grammy sammich. Socks for years :) Love this mommy advice.
(L-R) Melon baby. My sis-in-law Haley really made this sign on her own! Mi ma & mi sis ❤
One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
