My Sons’ Favorite Candles

My sons are the most spectacular little men in my life—after my darling dad, brilliant brother, and husband, of course. They are good in school, they make a strong effort in athletics (the littler one is the hydration captain of water lacrosse!), and they are always helping make our lovely home more…lovely and homey. And their favorite thing for doing just that? You won’t believe this, ha ha, but that thing is candles!

For the powder room (I don’t let the boys use curse words like b*th), they both prefer Byredo’s “Fleur Fantôme,” inspired by a garden in bloom.

For a “just for fun” candle, they like Jo Malone’s Pomegranate Noir Luxury Candle. I can’t stand the floral note of Casablanca lily, but they really love the handfeel of the glass casing, so I bought three anyways, just to appease the kiddos.

And no dining table candlestick set is complete without candlestick holders. The larger one likes this one and the littler one likes the one with white speckles. Boys will be boys, I suppose! How do you choose which candlestick holders to get when your sons don’t agree?
