The Problem With Excuses

The other day I was running late to my Reiki manicure appointment and sent a text message saying that I was stuck on the train. Of course, this was a lie. I don’t take the trains and I barely know how to do anything on my phone that isn’t secretly record other moms’ conversations. It was an excuse. And it got me thinking: excuses are bad. Excuses are just reasons to not do things. And in order to live me must do things. In order to live I cannot make excuses.

So readers, this is my promise to you and to myself: no more excuses ever.

Sound off in the comments: what’s your favorite vegan appetizer?
