First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage…

There’s no baby carriage yet, but I did get married to my best friend and love of my life on May 18th, 2019. It was a beautiful ceremony and a wonderful reception. We celebrated with our friends and family and prepared for a life together.

My and Errin’s love story is somewhat of a fairy tale. We often laugh about how quickly we got together, fell in love and moved in together. Heck, of our 3-year relationship, we’ve been living together for 2.5 of those years. The point is that we got married on a Saturday evening and on Monday we were on our way to beautiful sunny Orlando.

A Tropical Resort

Errin and I are truly blessed. My father gifted us with a week’s stay at the Worldmark Kingstown Reef Resort in Orlando, Florida. It’s not Disney and it’s not the greatest, but it was free and the facilities were well maintained.

We spent our nights in the green building featured above. Our room came complete with a king size bed, kitchen with stove and oven, and even pots and pans. It was like living in a fully furnished apartment for a week.

Unfortunately, there was construction going on during our stay because they are making updates to the property. The noise wasn’t really an issue because we were literally gone all day. However, a few of the amenities were down due to the construction, and the view from our room window was of a blocked off parking lot.

Official Day 1

On Monday, we arrived at the resort/hotel. Errin immediately took a nap while I tried to figure out the tech in the room. We enjoyed a nice dinner from Fridays, went grocery shopping at a local Walmart and went to bed early so that we could prepare for our week of theme parks.

Tuesday morning I got up and cooked us a nice breakfast. We got dressed, packed some water and then proceeded to get an Uber to our first theme park, Universal Studios Resort Island of Adventure.

Check back next week for Part 2 “Island of Adventure”
