You Are Free To Dream (ft. Tehana Ranatunga)

When talking to Tehana Ranatunga, owner of the magazine Dreamality, it was clear to us that freedom was a big part of her journey towards authenticity.

• The path where dreams go to die

Tehana admitted that after highschool she stopped dreaming and tried to conform to the life that everybody else was living.

Go to uni, find a job, have your own family, pay the bills and retire, that is what we’ve all been told to do.

Follow those steps and you’ll be all right. Or so we’ve been told…

• Dare to dream again

Towards the end of 2013, Tehana felt a pull.

She felt like she needed to find a church.

That’s when she found Planetshakers.

Being surrounded by people that were free inspired her to dream again.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

Tehana strongly believes that God set us free so that we could freely dream and live the life that was given to us.

Hence why she created her magazine Dreamality.
