In this post, you’re going to learn ways to stay healthy with your family.

The tips discussed are actionable and easy to implement, and the goal is for you to turn them into habits.

And guess what? They’re pretty simple to follow! Without further ado, let’s get started.

15 Ways to Stay Healthy

1. Wash your hands

It’s super important to always wash your hands every time you come inside. Whether that’s using soap or hand sanitizer, keep your hands clean.

Also, anytime you’re out, avoid touching your face. This is because you touch different surfaces a day and germs and bacteria get onto our hands and ultimately into our body system.

So try fighting it off by keeping your hands as clean as possible. To properly wash your hands, follow these simple steps:

  • Wet your hands with soap
  • Scrub hands, including under nails, for at least 20 seconds
  • Rinse with running water
  • Dry

2. Avoid people who are sick

This is a no-brainer, but try to avoid people who are sick. This means if someone is coughing or sneezing, move away from them. Cover your mouth and nose.

And if you observe a wave of sickness going around your kid’s school, you should keep them at home. Just do your very best to avoid others who are sick with communicable diseases.

3. Eat more fruits and veggies

Eat diets that primarily consist of high-quality plant foods. Taking more of them with less meat will decrease the risk of many diseases, including:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Stroke
  • High blood pressure
  • Heart disease
  • High cholesterol

When eating fruits, it’s better to choose those that are as close to their natural state as possible. Pick the orange over the orange juice.

Because refined foods are often stripped of their healthy fiber. Whole plant foods also have more protein.
