Before you install latakoo software, make sure your hardware can do the job.

latakoo Flight is an application that you install on your computer. There’s a version for Windows and Mac machines, as well as iOS devices.

latakoo Flight versions 6.2 and later run ONLY on 64-bit machines.

Windows

For Windows machines, our most recent software releases run only on a 64-bit version of Windows. The terms 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a computer’s processor (also called a CPU), handles information. The 64-bit version of Windows handles large amounts of random access memory (RAM) more effectively than a 32-bit system. A 64-bit system can be more responsive when running several programs at the same time and switching between them frequently.

You should have at least 4GB of RAM available on your machine or more. This level of RAM is consistent with machines that are running 64-bit version of Windows.

To find out if your computer is running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows in Windows 7 or Windows Vista, do the following:

1. Open System by clicking the Start button, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.

2. Under System, you can view the system type.

Mac Machines

Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard is the last release that a 32-bit Intel Mac can run. Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, released in July 2011, and more recent software releases are, by default, 64-bit.

To find out if your mac is running 64-bit version, do the following:

1. Click on About this Mac, under the Apple menu.

2. Click on System Information.

3. Go to the Software section and under the Extensions or Contents section, look for the 64-Bit (Intel) line. If it says yes, then you are running 64-bit software.

If you are running a 32-bit machine, you can use latakoo Flight version 5.2.5, available to latakoo users under our classic apps page.
