C de C’s Top Spanish Ads in 2014
For the last 16 years, the Club de Creativos organization in Spain has been publishing a yearbook containing the best creative pieces of advertising in the country. The jury is made up of 32 different creatives from several fields such as advertising, design and illustration.
Last night, we attended this year’s presentation of the book, in which 5 of these professionals commented on their favorite ones. The event was sponsored and hosted by local beer Moritz and took place in the Moritz Factory, a brand space in Barcelona that serves as restaurant, shop and events venue.
The competition is divided in two main sections: Ideas and Executions (audiovisual, graphic and digital) and the yearbook designed by different studios every year. This time, it was Folch Studio’s turn, which focused on beauty and experience as the main concept behind their design. The book was divided into 4 sections:
Introduction: of the jury and past awards.
Ideas: where the concepts behind each project are presented and explained.
Execution: realization and works in their final stage.
The creative pieces were commented by advertising professionals Isahac Oliver (creative director for &Rosàs), Fredo Sanz (managing director at DoubleYou), Emma Pueyo (freelance creative director), Fernando Codina (founding partner at SantaMarta & Astorga), and Tania Verduzco (co-director at Los Pérez).
The Grand Prix went to the “Lo mejor es compartirlo” campaign, developed by Leo Burnett agency and Federico Fernández at Lotería y Apuestas del Estado.
