We’re excited to announce a change to our pricing structure that we hope will make LaTeX Base an even better option for many of our users. Beginning today, users can collaboratively create, edit, and share unlimited docs free of charge!

That means that anyone, anywhere can use our open platform for writing anything with LaTeX. We are thrilled to support open science by providing our basic services to writers who contribute to humanity’s collective and public knowledge.

Our redesigned premium service now includes the ability to mark docs as private which will prevent them from being listed in indexes or search engines.

Setting a doc to private within LaTeX Base.

Private docs can still be shared and edited collaboratively, but they will never be surfaced in public listings. All existing docs have been marked as private for the time being. In addition, we’re now building out the capability to invite collaborators with tiered access settings (ie read-only, read-write, etc).

Thanks for reading and for using LaTeX Base! We love feedback, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything we can do to improve our service for you or one of your collaboration groups.

Best,

Ari from LaTeX Base
