3 Ways to Build Confidence

1. Fail.

What Zara? You want me to straight up fall-on-my-face-fail? Yes. That’s exactly what I want you to do. You see, without failure there’s no wisdom, there’s no opportunity.

Here are a few great quotes on the intersection of failure and opportunity.

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.’ — Henry Ford

“There is no innovation and creativity without failure. Period.” ― Brene Brown

“Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” ― Thomas Edison

Long story short: Set big goals and fail often.

2. Practice Stillness.

Confident people are calm, cool, and collected under most cirmcumstances.

Confident people don’t bicker or whine or ostrasize.

Going back to failure. Confident people meet failure with stillness, reflection, and retrial.

3. A real queen/king need not say they are the queen/king.

Confidence is a woman of few words.

She exudes, she does not justify.

She chooses her imperfect self every day rather than muddle in self-pity.
