Understanding Brazilian Bonds

Brazilian Bonds is a Brazilian public securities trading program. Considered a low-cost and safe investment option, government bonds are assets with the lowest risk in an economy.

Launched in January 2002 in partnership with BM&FBovespa, this program was created with the goal of democratizing access to securities with low investment. Brazil is globally known for offering high yield fixed income securities when compared to the economic markets of other regions such as Japan, Switzerland, Sweden and other countries in the European Union. In some of these countries, investors are affected by negative interest rates and in some cases deflation.

Investing in Brazilian fixed income securities is an opportunity for you, investor, to not lose money or fail to earn from bank investments that are unattractive or even negative in your country.
