About 4 months ago, we shared Sketch to App Store and people loved it. It got 500+ votes on Product Hunt and currently has been starred over 1,100 times on Github.

The idea was simple. Make it exceptionally easy and quick to create really nice App Store images using the design tool Sketch (which I use and love). People seemed to be into the idea.

But as nice as the tool was, it was limiting. People who didn’t know about Sketch couldn’t use it. Some even tried, spending $100 on Sketch just to use the template.

So, we set out to make the process of creating App Store images even easier. We want anyone, designer or not, to go from raw app screenshots to beautiful App Store images. The result of that is the LaunchKit Screenshot Builder.

Screenshot Builder makes it easy to create gorgeous, custom images for your App Store page and export them in every resolution Apple requires. It takes just a few minutes.

A lot of organizations have product managers/marketers directing how these should look, but need the designers to actually create and update them. We hope this tool will let PMs own the whole process themselves, freeing up designers to do more important (and interesting) things.

This is just a first draft. Please send us feedback and we’ll keep improving this tool.
