The main goal of any mobile app website is simple: get visitors to download the app.

After releasing 7 apps into the App Store and 6 to Google Play, our team has tried many different methods to accomplish this goal. Today, we’re sharing what we’ve learned through a product that will ease this process for app developers everywhere.

LaunchKit’s Instant App Website tool creates and hosts a mobile-ready, smart solution for anyone who needs to quickly launch a website for their app. You don’t need to spend days or weeks working on and launching a website. With LaunchKit, you just need to fill out a few fields, choose a template, and hit save.

The websites have a lot of out-of-the-box features that every app website should have.

Choice of Design

Our tool comes with 9 simple and attractive templates for your app. And of course, they’re all responsive because every website promoting a mobile app should look great on a mobile device.

Platform Specific

If someone visits your page on an iPhone, they don’t need to see an Android download badge. We only show them download triggers for the platform they’re on. Both are shown on the web.

Optimized for Sharing

The goal of your website is to drive downloads, so when people are nice enough to share the link, we want to convert that new audience as quickly as possible. LaunchKit websites come ready with the necessary metadata for Twitter and Facebook to drive people directly from the tweet to the App Store or Google Play.

There are a lot more subtle features included, but those are some of the most useful. We’re releasing the public beta of Websites today and it’s totally free.

Click here to demo your custom app website (no account required to preview your page). Give it a try and please send feedback!
