It’s been a while, but Season 2 of the Launch School Podcast is finally live! We concluded Season 1 in May, 2017 which means there was a 2.5 year gap — what took so long?

The reason it took a while is because we wanted Season 2 to be stories about long term success. We wanted to catch up with Capstone graduates after they’ve been working for a bit, because in order to appreciate the value of long-term education, you have to wait a while.

Season 2 will include conversations with folks who landed six figure jobs at companies like DigitalOcean, Facebook, TimescaleDB, Walmart Labs, etc and in software engineering roles in blockchain, network infrastructure, VR, and beyond. And we’ll chat with folks from all backgrounds: college dropout, PhDs, immigrant, bootcamp refugee, male, female, etc.

It’s my sincerest hope these conversations serve as proof that no matter your background, you can do it. You can get Capstone results, too, if you want no matter your circumstance.

The first episode of Season 2 is with Tannr Allard, who talked about his journey from dropping out of college to landing a $120k job in New York City. Give it a listen on our website, or from your favorite podcast app on either iOS or Android.
