Launchgarage Mentor Highlight: Christian Blanquera

Christian is a Tech Entrepreneur with 2 exits in his career. He’s been in the tech space for over 10 years and his current activities are focused on e-commerce, fin-tech and recruitment space utilizing blockchain and AI. His most recent entrepreneurial venture is Monico, a blockchain-based Mobile App used to manage tokens and project liquidity in a single interface. Christian has experience in various roles including programming, operations, company-wide management, sales, brand and data-driven marketing, creative and UI/UX design, business development, HR, accounting.

He’s the CTO of Sterling Technologies, a technology accelerator previously known as Openovate Labs (which he founded) that was acquired by the Sterling Group of Companies in 2017. Sterling Technologies specializes in building better user experiences, improving customer engagement, and implementing data-driven and business intelligence. Prior to Sterling Technologies, Christian was the CTO of Galleon.ph and spearheaded the technical growth of the company. Together with his team, Christian grew Galleon.ph to be a multi-million dollar venture in just under 3 years without any form of outside capital.

Christian also served as the Vice-Chairman of the Philippine Association for Digital Commerce and Decentralized Industries, where he pushed for blockchain regulations and education forward in the Philippines.
