Step-by-Step Guide to Claiming Your LAVITA tokens with your Lavita Character NFTs from ThetaDrop
We’re excited to announce a new feature to owners of Lavita character NFTs, which were airdropped on ThetaDrop in two separate collections earlier this year. Users can now claim free LAVITA TNT-20 tokens by burning Lavita character NFTs and immediately stake them to help secure and govern the Lavita subchain on Theta network. This guide below will walk you through the process:
Step 1: Open Lavita Website
Visit the Character NFTs page by typing the URL, https://www.lavita.ai/claim into your web browser.
Step 2: Connect Your Wallet (Theta Wallet or MetaMask)
On the Lavita website, click on “THETA WALLET” or “METAMASK”. If you choose Theta Wallet, you need to open the mobile Theta wallet app to scan the QR code for the “WalletConnect” function.
Step 3: Navigate to the ThetaDrop Website
Click “Open ThetaDrop”
Step 4: Select NFT for Burning by withdrawing from ThetaDrop first
Click on your profile — “My Collection” where your Lavita character NFTs are shown, and choose the NFTs you wish to burn in exchange for LAVITA tokens.
Click “Withdraw NFT”
Step 5: Confirm the NFT Withdraw
You’ll need to confirm the NFT withdraw to your Metamask or Theta wallet app before the burn process. Be sure you are ready as this process is irreversible. Once your NFT is burned, it cannot be restored.
Select Wallet Address which you would like to withdraw your NFT to and enter verification code on your authentication device, and click “Submit Request”.
Step 6: Burn your NFT to claim LAVITA Tokens
After you burn the Character NFTs, you will receive free LAVITA tokens, automatically deposited to your connected wallet.
Click “BURN” a single NFT or “Burn All” if you would like to burn all the NFTs. Click “Continue” — then it will request approval to interact with your LAVITA NFTs. Click “Approve” from your wallet. Please be patient, as this approval step might take 2–3 minutes.
(Please note that there are cases where 3 transactions would be required if you hit “Burn All” and had a Series 1 and a Series 2 NFT)
Step 7: Check Your Wallet
Finally, check your wallet to confirm the LAVITA tokens have been successfully credited.
Step 8: Stake your LAVITA tokens
You can now help secure and govern the Lavita subchain on Theta network by staking your LAVITA tokens, you will also earn over 100% APY (as the time of this writing) in token rewards. Visit https://www.lavita.ai/stake and follow the step-by-step instructions here.
