Extracts from Pt. Kanhaiya Lal Misra — My Father

Pt. K.L. Misra — My Father * Family * Primary Duty of an Officer of the Court * Poem on Demise of his wife — Gayatri Devi * Youtube * Wikipedia * Wix * Other Works

‘A family is a place where minds come in contact with one another and building a successful family is like building a home. A successful family based on unity, forgiveness and love takes careful planning, but it’s worth every moment.’

‘When observing life you will find that the greatest happiness you get is derived from the family happiness. You cannot choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them and the family is the most important thing in the world. Always remember at the end of the day, the loving family finds everything forgivable. The family is like an orange, with sections, held together but separable — each segment distinct. Children in a family are like flowers in a bouquet: there’s always one determined to face in an opposite direction from the way desired. But keeping them all together is required — not by force but love, understanding, sacrifice and family gatherings with all involved and feeling for each other in abundance flowing.’
