Good morning / afternoon / evening / other time of day,

First off, we wanted to thank everyone who has taken time to try out the Schedule extension over the last few weeks. It’s been truly incredible to see the excitement our Schedule Extension has brought to so many Twitch streams since it’s launch. A big thank you to everyone who has tweeted us your appreciation and excitement, as well as your feature requests.

During initial ideation of the Schedule Extension, on the top of the list was customization. However, when we looked at the total concept and the complexities needed to deliver a reliable core feature set, we decided to defer customization until after initial launch. We’ve been happy with this approach since not only are Extensions a new experience for most streamers, but so are the Twitch Events (and if you still haven’t setup your Schedule panel, here’s our how to guide.)

We’ve heard you!

As we expected, you all agree that customization is the top improvement you’re looking for and since launch, we’ve been working on a beta test of customization. Today we’re pleased to announce it is live for ALL Layer One users.

Let’s take a look at what we’re launching today!

Twitch Schedule Change Log

Available to Essentials users:

  • Color Themes: Choose from a variety of pre-made themes for easy setup.
  • Localization: French has been added as a supported language (thanks @DebuggedRobot.) Over time we will add more languages with the help of you the community. More to come on that!

Also available to Plus users:

  • Custom Color: Select your own color to fit your brand or style.
  • Color Overlay: Choose whether or not your image has a light overlay of your color. Great for font optimization to ensure your title shows.
  • Hide Elements: Choose whether to show or hide both the “Powered by” footer and the header.

We hope you enjoy the updates — can’t wait to see what you all create! Start customizing your Schedule right now

Layer One Change Log

  • Schedule customization added in settings.
  • Ban Logs have been moved out of Beta and are now available to Essential users.🔥🔥🔥
  • Dashboard cards moving and resizing bug has been resolved. We apologize for the “odd” experience it was causing. Moving cards will feel much smoother now!
  • Found the horizontal scroll bar on the dashboard after a long game of hide-n-seek.
  • Audience chart and list’s systems have been rewritten. We have seen significant improvement but please reach out for any anomalies.
  • Title, Status, & Community card can now be stretched one more column to help with the community search.
  • Navigation has been added on the left side of the settings page. This will continue to evolve as we grow.
  • Plus subscribers can now manage their subscription in settings page. This includes the ability to add a new credit card and change default payment methods.
  • Fixed the theme selection bug. Users can now change their theme rather than pretending that they changed their theme.
  • Click To Tweet dashboard card has had a little UI improvement on the submit button to give the text field more room.
  • The top bar is now 9 pixels smaller. COUNT ‘EM 9 WHOLE PIXELS.

That is all for now. We’re starting to get ready for TwitchCon & cannot wait to see everyone out there! As always, we’re eager to hear your feedback on Twitter & Discord

Cheers and Donuts,

The Layer One Team
