How does Gandalf’s challenge work?
The team over at Lakera set out to create a challenge that promoted and educated users about a major concern of LLMs like ChatGPT. In their own words.
“In April 2023, we ran a ChatGPT-inspired hackathon here at Lakera. Prompt injection is one of the major safety concerns of LLMs like ChatGPT. To learn more, we embarked on a challenge: can we trick ChatGPT into revealing sensitive information?”
