Your results are a direct reflection of your thoughts. Learn how to take control of your mind and your thoughts to generate the best possible results for yourself. First, you need to understand the basics of how your mind actually works. So let’s get right to it, you won’t regret it I promise!

You need to understand that there are many more factors affecting you, your actions, habits, and your results than what you and others can physically see. Actually you will have to accept that you will never be able to see these aspects since the once affecting you the most are non-physical.
You will become aware that you are constantly living simultaneously in three dimensions.

  1. You are Spiritual (Non-physical) = Your thought energy
  2. You have an Intellect = Your ideas
  3. You live in a Physical body = The things and results you create

Your Mind 🧠

I will use this illustrated model below to explain how your mind works and which consists of your Conscious Mind, Sub-Conscious Mind, and your Body.

No one can ever cause you to have a thought. They might affect it but you are always responsible and in control of your thoughts. It’s crucial that you are aware of this to be able to understand how you can change your thought patterns and get the results you want.

You are ALWAYS a result of the thoughts you choose to think.

Whenever your mind experiences something that thought will go through a process and be interpreted. The process looks like this:
Thoughts →Feelings →Actions →Results

Conscious mind

It is the “first part” of your Mind which is the one that can think and reason. Your thought will be processed here and either be “accepted” or “rejected” and you are the only one who is in control of this process. Important is that you know that these thoughts will control which results you get in life, so choose wisely. The more times you decide to accept a thought it is more likely that it will be implemented to your “second part”, your Sub-Conscious Mind.

Sub-Conscious Mind

The “second part” is your Sub-Conscious Mind which is the part of your mind that is referred to as our “Power Center” and our “Spirit”. Here is where the magic happens.🤯
Our Sub-Conscious Mind does NOT know any limits other than what you decide for it. This is the unique ability we as humans beings have, to create ideas/visions of things that do not yet exist. As mentioned all your thoughts that have been accepted enough (many) times by your conscious mind will be fixed thoughts in your Sub-Conscious Mind and do not need any assistance from your Conscious Mind.
Your Sub-Conscious Mind affects every cell in your body and the environment of your cells. Imagine which environment you create if you start and end each day by watching all the negative information that the news is flooded with. Instead here is an exercise for you that I do the first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening. Write down 3 things you are most grateful about, it can be both “small” and “bigger” things.

Body

The last and “third part” is your Body. Your body is the part of your mind that expresses the emotions, actions, and habits which are generated from your Sub-Conscious Mind. Even though this is the only part of your mind that is visible and the most obvious this is still the part that is the “smallest” and has the least effect on your personality. Our body serves as a tool and instrument to our Mind and the house we live in.

Deep Dive 🤓 Our Conscious mind consists of 2 parts

First of all, you need to be aware of that you can’t delete a thought and habit, you can ONLY replace it.

Our Conscious Mind has been equipped with the following intellectual factors to process, interpret, accept, or reject thoughts:

  • Reasoning
  • Intuition
  • Perspective
  • Will
  • Memory
  • Fantasy

Our Conscious Mind consists of two parts:

Deductive Reasoning = Our “autopilot mode” which can’t reject thoughts
Inductive Reasoning =
Our “active mode” which is able to reject thoughts

Deductive Reasoning

When our Conscious Mind is in Deductive Reasoning mode you are no longer able to control (accept or reject) your thought and the “filter” that our Conscious Mind is supposed to function as has been temporarily taken away. This means that all our thoughts go directly to our Sub-Conscious Mind and results in emotions and actions aligned with these thoughts.

Inductive Reasoning

When your Conscious Mind is in Inductive Reasoning mode you have activated your critical and analytical abilities. In this mode, you are able to actively accept or reject thoughts. The reasoning of the mind here is “Will this improve my life?”. If the answer is no then it will be rejected. If the answer, on the other hand, is yes then it will be accepted and replace the old thought. This is the ability that makes us all unique.

The process if we are in Inductive Reasoning and we decide to accept a new thought because it will improve our life:

If we create a positive thought environment it will serve as an infinite stream and storage of thought power and creative thinking.

LAST WORDS

I hope that this article was at least insightful and maybe even life-changing for you as it was for me.

Through this new understanding of our mind, I am practicing a new thought pattern I wanted to share with you and hope you can join the movement as well.

As I am a emotional person expressing my feelings with intensity and previously would instinctively react IN THE FEELING. This would to often result in that I would express frustration and anger without allowing myself to reflect on why.

After gaining the understanding that I am the only one responsible for my thoughts and feelings I am pushing myself to be grateful towards the individual (which it usually is) that he/she gave me this gift. A gift in the shape of an opportunity to better understand where the thought and feeling originate from and do something about it.
This is without a doubt not easy and demands hard and continues work. I am though committed to taking full responsibility for my thoughts and emotions because I know it has a direct correlation to my life quality and results.
