LE BRUNCH @ Old Bengal Warehouse. EC2M 4TR
This summer Old Bengal Bar welcomed the street food heroes that are Busan BBQ to its courtyard. Understandably everyone got so damn excited that the decision was made to go bigger with the next residency… Enter, Le Bun.
Slinging a distinctive French/American brand of seriously luxe dishes, the team at Le Bun have been championed by the glorious Gizzi Erskine and starred in Sky’s The Ones to Watch. Their food is also delicious, so that’s worth noting.
This time it isn’t just Old Bengal Bar getting involved, but New Street Grill too, joining forces with Le Bun to launch Le Brunch, as of this weekend.
Taking place from 11am-4pm on both Saturdays and Sundays for the next month, tables are filling up fast, with diners eager to get stuck into decadent dishes like Truffles ‘n’ waffles (confit southern fried chicken, shaved autumn truffles, chicken jus, house waffles, truffle butter, rosemary maple syrup) and Le bun (maple syrup, poached egg, hollandaise, asparagus salad, brioche).
There’s also set to be a resident DJ, an exclusive selection of wines by the glass and some very special cocktails. You also get the benefit of New Street Grill’s bottomless brunch offer, so there’s the option of unlimited prosecco for just £10…
Come on down, you know you want to…
