Travel is going from the familiar to the unfamiliar. And there is where you find a story. About you, or about the other. About home or about away. About the familiar, or about the unfamiliar. Those are the stories you can find in Le Giroflier Royal.
Do you have travel stories or travel poetry to share? Apply to become a writer for Le Giroflier Royal. What we are looking for? Stories about travel. About what it does to you. Observations celebrating the difference of the other. What we are not looking for? Reviews. Listicles. The obvious.
The basics
- All submissions will be reviewed, and only edited for obvious typos.
- Your submission is in line with Medium guidelines
- You will leave one of the five tag spaces free, it will be used to organise your story in this publication
- You can do one CTA at the bottom of your story. Preferrably a link to a story on Medium. Stories with more will be rejected.
- Stories should be about celebrating the diversity and beauty of our planet.

Want to join? Send a message to giroflierroyal@baronh.eu. The message should include your motivation for joining, a link to your Medium profile, and a link to a story you think would be a good fit. That can be, but doesn’t have to be, a draft story.
